As a basic buying guide, when choosing a spy camera these 3 main points are essential for consideration when looking at spy pens.

Spy Cameras Resolution - cameras come in a range of different resolution capacities, examples include 352x288 - 600x480 - 640x480 or 1280x960.  The larger the number - then basically the larger the movie will appear when played back on a P.C.  A lower pair of numbers means that the movie may only take up around 20% of your monitor.

Camera Frames Per Second - the spy cameras come with various levels of recording speed (one speed per camera).  These are normally 15 FPS - 25 FPS or 30 FPS +/- 1  A higher number of frames per second gives a smoother playback, especially when the movie contains a high degree of motion.
